‘A book is a gift you can open again and again’ – Garrison Keillor The joy of reading is indeed a very special one and Tagore International School, Vasant Vihar was transformed into a haven for book lovers as the school
celebrated Book Week from 4 th May to 9 th May 2022 along with the all-time favorite Scholastic Book Fair. Book Week commenced with the inauguration of the Book Fair by Ms. Madhulika Sen ( Senior Education Advisor) and Ms. Shefalee Gupta, Principal. They encouraged students to become avid readers and explore these treasure houses of knowledge. Students of all classes enthusiastically participated in various interesting activities related to books and reading throughout the week; Tech Book, Dumb Charades based on the book title, and Pop Quiz were some of the activities where students showed their creativity . Book Week concluded with talks by authors Venita Coelho and Trina Roy, and an enjoyable storytelling session by Stephen Marazzi.
