The Chinese Language Day is celebrated on the 20th of April every year. The day celebrates multilingualism and cultural diversity as well as promotes the equal use of all six official working languages of the United Nations.

TIS has been offering Mandarin classes since 2011, and every year we see a number of enthusiastic students learning it. To celebrate the Chinese Language Day this year, the students of Classes VIII and IX presented Chinese songs, dance and poetry in an hour-long event, which was appreciated by all.
