Winterlude Once More

<p>Anyone who has once been there would probably agree that Winterlude , winter fete &nbsp;at TIS,VV is &nbsp;synonymous with fun and excitement. And finally, &nbsp;on &nbsp;17 December 2022, after the gap caused by the Pandemic, &nbsp;the fete was back ! And it &nbsp;was all that everyone had been eagerly waiting for. Brightly decorated stalls set up by each class, with a plethora &nbsp;of games, are always enjoyable , especially for the younger ones. &nbsp;Ring the Pinocchio, &nbsp;Can Can , Miss- Match , Bank a Ball &nbsp; - the names were as &nbsp;varied as the games.<br>The senior students were all to be found on the dance floor, jiving to the latest numbers. The school band too gave us &nbsp;some lively melodies. Bhoot Bangla , always a huge draw, had its collection of horrors , sending spooky thrills down everyone's spine. The rides, Columbus &nbsp;and Break Dance especially, were &nbsp;huge hits. &nbsp;The food stalls had been doing excellent business from morning but as evening drew on , the aromas &nbsp;of kababs, &nbsp;shwarma, vada &nbsp;pau , brownies &nbsp;and more drifting across the grounds &nbsp;, &nbsp;brought &nbsp;even larger numbers to sample the delicious food available. &nbsp;A number of consumer goods stalls also attracted &nbsp;many &nbsp;customers. &nbsp; Jukebox, the request stall, kept the atmosphere cheerful with their peppy &nbsp;announcements and choice of &nbsp;foot tapping music. Parents , alumni, retired teachers , and &nbsp;of course all the students thoroughly enjoyed the carnival atmosphere, and left &nbsp;with &nbsp;some great memories.</p>
