On 24 July 2024, Ms. Shobha Tharoor, an acclaimed children's author, visited our school to conduct an author talk for students of Class V. Ms. Tharoor read excerpts from three of her popular books: Look before You Leap, A Treasure Trove of Timeless Tales and Raja Ravi Varma. Her eloquence and the vivid descriptions captivated the students and transported them to a world of the imagination. After the reading, Ms. Tharoor opened the floor to questions from the students. The children were enthusiastic and had a variety of queries. She shared that her love for storytelling and reading as a child inspired her to write stories that would spark the imagination of young readers. The session concluded with Ms. Tharoor encouraging the students to read widely and explore their creativity through writing. She emphasized the importance of imagination and the joy that stories can bring into our lives.
