International Dance Day: A Tribute to Indian Classical Arts

On the occasion of International Dance Day, Tagore International School, Vasant Vihar, hosted a SPIC MACAY event celebrating Indian classical arts. The highlight was a captivating Odissi performance by Padma Shri Guru Geeta Mahalik, accompanied by renowned artists Sri Prasanta Behera, Sri Prasant Mangaraj, and Sri Nikhil Kumar Behera. The event began with a lamp- lighting and shloka, followed by mesmerizing performances and student interaction with the artists. The celebration fostered appreciation for India’s cultural heritage and left a lasting impact on all present.
