Nearly five decades at TIS has been an exhilarating journey and I have loved every moment of it. From a mere 22-year-old teaching Social Science in a single-storied building to organizing the very first school trip outside Delhi, from building up resources to forging bridges with different countries and receiving numerous dignitaries, every year and every decade has been richly rewarding. The enthusiasm of the students and their thirst and willingness to learn has kept me on my toes and young! The support, trust and cooperation of parents and the entire staff has been my backbone. Without which, raising and maintaining the moral and academic standards would not have been possible. 
Over the last few years, I have received children of my students as learners in this school. I eagerly await the third generation, which will reaffirm the worthiness of our ethos and our vision. Surprise visits by the alumni, Teachers’ Day and birthday wishes, invitations to weddings, the school’s name being proudly mentioned in their graduation speeches, all are an elixir that keep me going.
