The National Mission for Clean Ganga (NMCG), under the Ministry of Jal Shakti, sanctioned an awareness initiative aimed at sensitizing school students towards river conservation and biodiversity. As part of this project, students of Class VIII presented a stage play designed to establish an emotional, cultural, and environmental connection with the rivers Ganga River and Yamuna River.
The initiative aimed to bridge the gap between young citizens and river conservation efforts by fostering awareness, responsibility, and active stewardship among students. The program successfully instilled a sense of responsibility and environmental consciousness among students. It encouraged them to become proactive participants in preserving and protecting these vital river ecosystems, reinforcing the role of youth in sustainable development.
